About
Hi, I'm Mackenzie Donovan

My Approach
Building a strong relationship is at the center of my work. Before meaningful change can happen, young people need to feel understood, respected, and comfortable being themselves. I focus on meeting each client where they are, whether they're struggling with anxiety, depression, school-related stress, family conflict, emotional regulation, or simply feeling stuck.
Over the past several years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings, including public schools, community-based clinics, juvenile justice programs, and detention facilities. These experiences have taught me that every young person has a unique story, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.
I strive to create a space where clients can be honest without fear of judgment, develop practical skills for managing life's challenges, and build confidence in themselves and their ability to navigate difficult situations. My approach is collaborative, straightforward, and tailored to the individual needs of each child and family.
